WHO launches art competition: 'Our World: Different but Better'

The World Health Organization (WHO) in the Philippines has launched an art competition on how youths think the new normal can be a better normal.

WHO said the competition, part of its 75th anniversary celebration, seeks to tap into the youth's "spirit, courage, and creativity in envisioning a better Philippines that we deserve."

The competition is open to Filipinos ages 18 to 24 years old and artists who have not yet had a solo exhibition.

The theme of the competition is “Our World: Different but Better.”

It seeks to determine how youths envision a better normal and how they think the country can emerge stronger from the COVID-19 crisis.

The grand prize includes P30,000 financial assistance and a chance to hold an exhibit in an alternative art space.
