Veronica Velarde-Pulumbarit, a journalism graduate of UP Diliman, has been a writer
and editor for almost 30 years. In 2017, she was chosen as one of the 100 Fearless Filipinas. She is a PWD with spinal tumor and slipped disc caused by a childhood accident.
My husband Riz and I wanted to create something that could give hope and encouragement this Christmas despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
We thought of making a giftbook that would remind people to pause, pray, and reflect before the year 2020 ends.
2020 has been a difficult year for many of us. We especially remember our friends who have succumbed to COVID-19. This book is dedicated to their memory and in honor of medical heroes.
