One of main takeaways from the COVID-19 community quarantine is the realization that we can do many of the things we used to rely on others to do for us such as haircutting.
As I wanted to minimize the risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus especially in public places, I chose to pick up new skills through instructional videos on YouTube.

Here are some of the lessons I picked up from YouTube:
(1) Cutting one's hair
It can be tricky at first but you’ll get the hang of it by your third or fourth attempt. A very satisfying skill indeed.
(2) Installing additional RAM to your laptop
Adding memory (RAM) will make your laptop faster. This is practical whether you’re working from home, playing games, or browsing through the web.
(3) Replacing your mobile phone’s charging port
Losing phone numbers and photos because your cell phone won’t charge is a real bummer. The charging port is pretty cheap and easy to install.
(4) Cleaning your sink’s grease trap
Some houses have a grease trap but almost all condo units and restaurants have it. It is not for the faint of heart nor the nauseous type as you’ll have to remove grease, fat, oil, and other liquids. The stench is terrible. Have this done by a professional if you either have doubts or a weak stomach.
