León Gallery, one of the country's top auction houses, will hold an online auction from July 18-19.
Those interested to participate in the auction can register at www.leonexchange.com. They can also view the e-catalogue of artworks, antiques, furniture, and jewelry here.
Among the interesting items are paintings by award-winning artist Romulo Galicano.
Leon Gallery says, "Cebuano artist Romulo Galicano’s landscape works, may it be tonal depictions of the local countryside or places abroad, are undeniably picturesque and quiet yet powerful."
Among the many awards of Galicano, a master in using oil and pastel, are the Grand Prize in the International Portrait Competition of the Portrait Society of America (2005) and First Artist of the Year of the GSIS Museo ng Sining (2010).
Collectible KAWS art pieces
Meanwhile, KAWS collectible art pieces are also a highlight of the upcoming Leon Gallery auction this July.
KAWS is the professional name of American visual artist Brian Donnelly.
He studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York and worked as a painter in the animation industry before he became a famous artist. His works can be found in museums and galleries in different countries.

Leon Gallery was the auction house that sold in 2018 the personal flag of Katipunan founder Andres Bonifacio for P9.3 million from a starting bid price of P1 million.
The flag was sewn by Bonifacio's wife Gregoria de Jesus.
On July 7, the founding anniversary of the Katipunan revolutionary movement, Leon Gallery posted a photo of the Bonifacio flag.
