Art in the Park, cancelled indefinitely last March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will finally push through online this week from August 10-17.
The outdoor art fair was supposed to be held in Salcedo Village, Makati last March 15 but organizers decided not to push through with the event as Metro Manila was set to be placed on Enhanced Community Quarantine on March 16.
The 52 exhibitors for the March event will now be showcasing the artworks via www.artinthepark.ph
The exhibitors include Artepintura Gallery, Galerie Artes, Mono8 Gallery, Museum Foundation of the Philippines, The Photography Zone, UP College of Fine Arts, Vinyl on Vinyl, among others.
Interested buyers may pay for their purchases via GCash, debit card, or Paypal.
Art in the Park said special food deals will be offered during the art fair to give buyers a "feel" of the art event that has been held since 2006.
"We will miss meandering through the park, nibbling, and imbibing our selection of food and drinks just as much as you will! Art in the Park said.
There will also be virtual art demonstrations and musical performances during the art fair.
